A year with Rumi has passed

Yesterday I bid farewell to my beloved A year with Rumi. I gave it to a friend.

Hey, remember when I showed you the book a couple of weeks ago? You should have seen that bright glare, those twinkles, huge inner smile in your eyes when you read them.

That book is yours, not mine. For sure.

I am going to read you my most favorite poem of all from the book.

A door

I have lived on the lip
of insanity, wanting to know reasons,
knocking on a door. It opens.
I’ve been knocking from the inside.

Coleman Barks' A year with Rumi: Daily Readings. Nov 8.

Thank you. So so very much.
